KLM Open 2027 to be held from 10 to 13 June at Kennemer Golf & Country Club
ZANDVOORT – The 2027 KLM Open will be held from 10 to 13 June at Kennemer Golf & Country Club in Zandvoort. After twelve years, the DP World Tour tournament returns to the classic links-style course in the dunes, just behind the North Sea coast. Kennemer is one of the oldest and most highly regarded golf clubs in the Netherlands, and the venue has hosted some of the most memorable editions in KLM Open history.

Kennemer was founded in 1910 in Santpoort. In 1928, the club moved to its current location in Zandvoort. Harry Colt designed his first course in the Netherlands at Kennemer: a distinctive links-style course set among the dunes. With the ever-present sea breeze and challenging rough, the course will also provide a test for the next generation of top players.

Big names, great history
The Dutch Open, later renamed the KLM Open, has been played at Kennemer more than twenty times. The list of winners at the Zandvoort dunes course spans generations. Seve Ballesteros recorded his first victory on the European Tour there in 1976, at just 19 years old. José María Olazábal won in 1989 after a legendary nine-hole playoff. Bobby Locke, Flory Van Donck, Simon Dyson, Darren Clarke, Ross Fisher, Paul Casey and Thomas Pieters have also added their names to the honour roll.
For Dutch golf fans, the 2013 edition stands out in particular. Joost Luiten defeated Miguel Ángel Jiménez on the first playoff hole, becoming the first Dutch winner of the KLM Open in ten years. Jiménez himself had won the tournament in 1994 at Hilversumsche Golf Club. Luiten claimed his second KLM Open title in 2016 at The Dutch.
