Who will be the winner of the 105th edition of the KLM Open?

This is what today is all about. Whose name will soon be engraved on the trophy of the KLM Open? A new name, that much is certain.

Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, José Maria Olazabal, Miguel Angèl Jimenez, Sergio Garcia and our very own Maarten Lafeber and Joost Luiten; just a small selection of the great golfing heroes from the last 50 years whose names will be on this trophy.

That there will be a new winner is certain. Defending champion Guido Migliozzi is out this weekend and the only former winner still playing today, Ross Fischer (2007), is too far behind to have any chance of victory.
Connor Syme (-10) and Joakim Lagergren (-8), the two players prior to the final round with the best papers, entered the course just after ten o’clock. Dutchman Daan Huizing will start his final 18 holes in eighth place. The winner’s entry is expected around 3pm.
