In Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary year, the KLM Open gets a new face. Ruud Gullit – sports icon, passionate golfer and born Amsterdammer – joins as tournament director, together with sports tournament director Daan Slooter.
At his home course The International, Gullit is committed to making Holland’s oldest golf event another week of Great golf, good times.

The right turn to the KLM Open? Take public transport or come by bike
The KLM Open will take place from 5 to 8 June 2025 at golf course The International near Amsterdam. The KLM Open is first and foremost about enjoying top golf on a top course: walk with your favourite player, follow the exciting Beat the Pro or test your own golf skills by taking part in the (fun) golf activities. Great golf, in other words!
But there is more! Something other than golf? Then go for good times and visit the nice shops in the KLM Open Village or enjoy a cool drink on one of the cosy terraces. Friday is all about the Amsterdamse avond with Dutch hits and atmosphere, hosted by Café Nol. That’s what we mean by Great golf, good times.
